Making the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Top 20 has been the biggest accomplishment of Toronto-native Jenna Lynn Higgins' life so far. Jenna Lynn is thrilled that her hard work and passion for dance has allowed her to achieve such a milestone in her dance career. "When I perform, viewers will see how much this means to me and how much I love dance! I'm proud that I've worked hard at what I love to do because now I'm living my dream and that doesn't happen everyday," she says.
Formally trained in ballet, jazz and lyrical, Jenna Lynn looks forward to perfecting new dance styles and showing viewers who she is through her dancing. Jenna Lynn would love the opportunity to work with SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA choreographer and special guest judge Blake McGrath, calling his dance abilities "unreal," and describes Jennifer Lopez as the greatest inspiration of her life. "Ever since I was a little girl I said I was going to be the next JLo," she exclaims.
Jenna Lynn describes her mom and her dance teacher as her biggest supporters and wants viewers to know how important her friends and family are to her.
Jenna Lynn believes SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA is important because it showcases the impact dance has on people's lives. "It shows how big of a deal it is to us and gives dancers a chance to prove to the world why we do what we do." When asked what advice she would give to aspiring dancers, Jenna Lynn replies, "don't ever, ever give up. It's all worth it in the end!"
Reflecting on her experience on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA, Jenna Lynn notes that she has learned how hard she can push herself when she really wants something, a lesson she is confident will help her succeed on the show. | | Performances / Videos
