CountryAustralia - Season 3 Eliminated on: March 11, 2010 - Top 14 AGE: 25 HOMETOWN: Mt Druitt, NSW DANCING STYLE: Hip Hop / Breakdance DANCING SINCE: 10 years old OCCUPATION: Thermo Climactic Engineer (ie: Aircon Technician The ever entertaining Don was inspired to dance by the early B-boys of the 80's. You'll remember him from the last two seasons of SYTYCD, first getting to the top 50, then the top 40. This year Don took classes in jazz and contemporary, preparing to get further this season then ever before. He sees his showmanship and stage comfort as his greatest strengths. His favourite dancers are Kelly Abby and American B-boy Remind. Q & A1. Going back to you first audition, did you have any idea back then that you would be in the Top 20? Since making it to the Top 50 in Season 1, there were times where I pictured myself in the Top 20 but there were alot of times where i felt like just completely forgetting about the show especially after not making it twice haha. This year, I had people constantly coming up to me and telling me that they stopped watching the show because I wasn't in it anymore haha. Knowing that I had that effect on people and that they believed in me, made me give that Top 20 one more shot and I finally made it. OOOO YEAAAAAA!!!!..d: ) 2. How did you feel when you realised you had made it through and how does it compare to getting into the top 100? I don't know ey. Making it to the Top 100 is mad, it's like winning a Playstation 3, but making it to the Top 20 is like winning a JB Hi Fi store hahaha. On a serious note, it feels unexplainably good to be a part of it especially that it was my third season. feel like a king. d: ) 3. Do you have any skeletons in your closet that you'd like to expose now, before a trashy magazine does? I can't really think of any but if anything comes out later on it would be pretty funny. 4. Describe as best you can, what dancing means to you! For me, dancing is a gift from God that is meant to be shared with others. 5. What would you do for a place in the top 4? I love rice and PS3 - I will stop eating rice and stop playing PS3. HAHAHA 6. Favourite past season dancer? Everyone was so mad, I loved them all. 7. Favourite musical style? Old School Hip Hop, Funk & Breaks. THE BEST!!! 8. Favourite holiday destination? Bora Bora. I've never been there but i wanna be there. 9. Are you a cat person or a dog person? Definitely a dog person, even more if they can backflip. Heaps Mad. 10.What is your star sign? Libra 11.Are you superstitious? Nah, I believe God has a plan and everything happens for a reason. 12. What would you change about yourself if you could? Nothing really, but if i had to choose one, it would be some of my finger and toe nails some of them are pretty ugly. 13.What superhero power do you wish you had and why? Teleportation, because you can go anywhere and just imagine all my bboy moves but teleporting, how MAD would that look. I'll feel like the king of the world and also never be stuck in traffic hahaha. YEA YEA YEA 14.What's the best bit of advice you've ever been given? God has a plan and everything happens for a reason. Don't look at what you think you lost because it probably wasn't meant to be yours in the first place but instead look at what you have and cherish and share it. 15.Who was your first celebrity crush? I can't really remember who was first but I definitely had a mad crush on Jessica Alba & Halle Berry. 16.What are you most looking forward to about being in the Top 20? Learning from the most amazing choreographers, getting on that stage and perform and RIP IT UP!!! 17.Who do you think is the best dancer of all time?
