 CountryAustralia - Season 3 Eliminated on: February 25, 2010 - Top 18 AGE: 20 HOMETOWN: Melbourne, VIC DANCING STYLE: Jazz DANCING SINCE: 2 1/2 years old OCCUPATION: Work at Love Machine Freestyling Mikhaela has been dancing for 17 years, studying the style of jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, arobatics, tap and latin. Outside of dance she loves go-carting and kicks butt with her taekwondo. Mikhaela loves any music with a dirty beat - anything that can be grooved to. Most of all she wants Australia to know that even though she is a bit of a tom boy, she's a sassy fun girl inside! Q & A1. Going back to you first audition, did you have any idea back then that you would be in the Top 20? I had no idea i didn't even pack for the green mile i never thought i would get that far in the competition so i had to go out and buy a new outfit for it. haha 2. How did you feel when you realised you had made it through and how does it compare to getting into the top 100? Making it through to top 100 was my personal goal so i was excited and felt asthough i had accomplished a little goal of mine so making it through to the top 20 was completely overwhelming and unexpected. Its an amazing feeling that you really cant explain. It was like a huge RUSH! 3. Do you have any skeletons in your closet that you'd like to expose now, before a trashy magazine does? No i dont have any skeletons 4. Describe as best you can, what dancing means to you! Dancing for me is a time to be completely seperate from the world around me i get to have fun reolease myself and have a play around. 5. What would you do for a place in the top 4? what wiouldn't i do haha i think you can only be yourself hope australia loves it and work your ass off 6. Favourite past season dancer? I love Marco i think he is charismatic and heaps of fun but also a really dedicated dancer. 7. Favourite musical style? I love commercial Jazz music cause i love dancing to it but anything with a dirty house beat i can 'smash it' to is fun. 8. Favourite holiday destination? I have been to Mildura every year so i love it there because the weather is hot and i get to go with all my family and chill with my cousins. we all get along heaps good and have similar interests so its a great time to chillax :) 9. Are you a cat person or a dog person? Definately a dog person! i love big althletic dogs you can take to away camping and know I will have a great time with them enjoying the bush :) 10. What is your star sign? Cancer 11. Are you superstitious? I wouldn't say i was superstitious but i believe in KARMA, what goes around comes around :) 12. What's one thing that you would change about yourself if you could and why? I think if i could change something physically about myself it would be to have longer legs so i dont have to cuff all of my jeans haha 13. What superhero power do you wish you had and why? I wish i could fly! i think soaring through the sky would be amazing and also being a dancer requires alot of petrol which is expensive so i would be saving money aswell haha 14. What's the best bit of advice you've ever been given? One of my dance teachers told me to never give up and push myself. 15. Who was your first celebrity crush? Id have to say it was justin timberlake back in his nsync days :) 16. What are you most looking forward to about being in the Top 20? working with all the amazing choreographers making friends and pushing myself to test out new limits :) 17. Who do you think is the best dancer of all time?
